The fifth round from the south german championship "electric touring car" took place at the german nationals track from 2008 in Mettenheim. In this Series, three categories were presented:
Category 1: TW Modified
Category 2: TW Sport, with "0-boost" controller + 13,5T motor
Category 3: TW Hobby, with "0-boost" controller + 17,5T motor
The Mettenheim racetrack is a fast but technical high demanding track. The surface was sugar watered for increased traction.
The event starts Saturday morning with free practice in dry conditions. But unfortunately at the first qualification it starts to rain, so no driver had a chance to complete even one lap in dry conditions. At Sunday the luck was on our side, the air temperature increased and the sun came out.
The XRAY T4 worked perfectly in these conditions, so I was able to make the fastest qualifing and started from the TQ spot in the finals.
In the first A-Main i was the whole race under pressure from Dominik Fleischmann. At the end of the race he crashed a little bit into me. He waited some seconds but I had bad luck, because my bodyshell was in. After this crash I found myself at the end of the race.
In the following two A-Mains, I was able to win and take the victory at this Event.
